Davila is set to direct the world premiere production of Jaime Lozano (Children of Salt) and Noemi de la Puente’s musical LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE. The musical which centers around a middle aged woman trying to find love again years after her husband died, will make it’s debut at Teatro SEA’s Micro Theater festival starting on November 5th.
The musical stars April Ortiz as the woman who finds herself in the middle of something that might be love, and Florencia Cuenca as her daughter who wants her mother to finally move on and be happy. Lozano music directs.
The night also includes the premiere of SUÉLTATE, SUPERTERAPIA, CÀNTATE MI AMOR, and LA LUPE. Each show will run consecutively and in repertoire, with four shows each a night.
The show premieres Monday Nov 7, 7pm-11pm, with an encore performance on Dec 5th at Teatro SEA (El Clemente 107 Suffolk Street, New York, NY 10002) Five dollar tickets can only be bought at the box office on the day of the show.
